It is important that when you vote for someone, you know as much as possible about the person, both professionally and personally. This is especially so when you are voting for the next Michigan Court of Appeals Judge. Jim Howell believes that this is important enough to give you any and all information concerning his life, as if you were individually hiring him for this position.
Jim believes that he is well qualified to ask for your vote, but you, not he, is the person who must make that decision.
"Having served Michigan as a police officer, lawyer, and State Representative, I believe I have the dedication and experience to continue this service as your Judge on the Michigan Court of Appeals. Improving the conditions within the courts of this great state requires a broad base of experience. I have had the privilege of enforcing the law as a Police Officer, practicing the law in the courts for many years as an attorney, and writing the laws of this state in the legislature. With your help and support I will now properly interpret the laws to the benefit of all citizens who come before me as a Judge on the Michigan Court of Appeals."
